Shawn + Courtney
This couple has really built a life for themselves, so when these parents of three were planning their wedding in their 10th year of being together, I was ecstatic to help them through the process. And what better location than they're home? A fantastic farmhouse with an amphitheater for a backyard! While many couples spend the bulk of their budget on a venue, Shawn spent months building walls, installing landscape, grading multiple levels and enhancing the barn and house to make this a beautiful venue for their 'I Dos."
Courtney wanted a glitzy, Boho Chic wedding in her beautiful rustic setting. Using original french doors from the home her grandparents built at both ends of the aisle, we adorned them with large floral bunches of roses, hydrangeas and greenery from their own eucalyptus trees! Hanging crystals and turquoise beads at the alter allowed them just a hint of sparkle during the sunset ceremony. With lace, feathers and more turquoise adorning the bride, her style really shined through!
To incorporate the whimsy, we searched high and low to bring the fun into the reception with a white bouncy castle! These photos were a must have of this full of life family of five!
The love these two have shown each other over the last ten years really shown through the most on their wedding day, and I couldn't thank them enough for letting me be apart of it!
